The Christmas season is upon us and with that comes Company Christmas Parties. I always look forward to this time of year as I tend to get a good share of corporate work during the end of November until Mid January. This year is no exception, and in fact 3 of my Christmas gigs have been booked since January. It was quite busy last year and I had to turn down lots of shows as I was already booked on those dates. 2023 rolled around and some clients that could not get me for 2022, emailed and wanted to book me for the Christmas season of 2023!!!
I have a feeling that may happen again in 2024 as I had about 80% of my Christmas weekends full since July of this year. So far I have passed off several different clients to a few different Magicians that I trust to do a good show for them. There are only a handful of Magicians in this area that I would think about sending a client to. These magicians have all the necessary tools such as a great show, good personality, and several other quantities that clients look for.
There are some clients out there that will just book the cheapest available performer. Personally I don’t want to work with those clients or performers that will take those shows. I am already taking shows for 2024, and as we speak I have several already booked up into April.
